Chris Cusanelli began his journey in martial arts at the age of 10 with traditional Karate and earned his 1st degree black belt at the age of 15. While in college, he found Jeet Kune Do “JKD” and other martial arts including: Muay Thai, Wing Chun Gung Fu, Kali and Brazilian JuJitsu.
Throughout his journey, he has taken part in community service projects and established FlashOut performance team, which is a group that inspires martial arts athletes to strive for excellence and to excel in sport martial arts. While continuing his passion to teach and inspire others, it led Chris to open Innovative Martial Arts. His love for the arts and passion for helping others are shown in his teaching every day.
Michael Singer started studying martial arts at the age of 10 with Tae Kwon Do and for several years, he was active in many competitions, winning state championships in forms, sparring and weaponry. In high school, he found Jeet Kune Do and other arts including: Silat, Muay Thai, Wing Chun Gung Fu, Kali and Brazilian JuJitsu. In college, he competed in Kickboxing and gained valuable experience as an amateur fighter. Since then, Mike has expanded his fitness lifestyle by competing in INBF and NPC bodybuilding shows. You can see Mike’s love for the arts and passion for helping people in every class he teaches.
Eric Shields has over 35 years of Martial Arts experience and has been running schools since he was 12 years old. By the age of 23 he was running two locations with 600 active students and a 1,000 person wait list. He holds a 5th degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and also a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu.
He is responsible for many of the martial arts websites you see throughout the industry today, and has worked with the who’s who in the space.
